Introducing the Knowdell Card Sorts

The Knowdell Card Sorts are powerful, creative, and flexible tools you can use to help your coachee gain awareness, and make better decisions so they can navigate their career transition and development, with more confidence, ease, and self-awareness. In the process, helping them overcome any fear, confusion, indecision, or desperation they may be experiencing.

The card sorts and framework have stood the test of time and have been developed and used all over the world since Dr. Richard “Dick” Knowdell created them in 1977. There are 4 different card sorts developed that we will teach to you. We are excited and happy to offer these tools here in the Philippines!

Flexible and Robust Coaching Framework

We will teach you an easy to use, yet powerful Career Coaching Framework to assist and accelerate the progress of your coachees and clients. There are 4 steps you need to be aware of to guide your client through so that they can more confidently and decisively choose the best way moving forward for themselves.

This framework has been developed and streamlined in the many years that Dick Knowdell, and other JCTC Certified Coaches, have been using it to coach and support people undergoing career transition, and even career development.

At least in the United States, the JCTC Certification Workshop has certified coaches coming from many different organizations and industries, a few of which are from:

Introducing Your Facilitators

Coach May Soriano

Coach May has been coaching for more than 2 decades already, a pioneer of Life and Corporate Coaching in the Philippines. She is one of the first JCTC Coach Instructors in the Philippines, is certified in MBTI, and is an International Master Facilitator of Points Of You. She’s a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach, and was the first Filipina graduate of the Coaches’ Training Institute. She was awarded one of the Top 100 Global Coaching Leaders in Mumbai, India in 2017.

Coach Fredric “Lippy” Lipio

Coach Lippy has been coaching for more than a decade, and is one of the first JCTC Coach Instructors in the Philippines. He holds a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) Credential with the International Coach Federation (ICF), and is a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach. He is part of the Global Faculty of Coachmasters Academy, and is a certified facilitator of 7 Habits of Highly Effective People Programs with FranklinCovey Philippines.

Level-up Your Coaching Skills

This is a Coaching Certification, and we will be having sessions focused to level-up your coaching skills, no matter what level you are in at the moment. The course also provides 25.25 CCEUs for your ongoing coaching education and for the renewal of your International Coaching Federation (ICF) credential.

Through experiential activities and different learning activities, we will introduce you to the essentials of what it means to be a career coach, the different roles and considerations when we’re coaching, and aligning understanding and expectation of coaching that meets the standards of the ICF.

The Job and Career Transition Coach (JCTC) Certification focuses on helping clients through career changes outside of organizations, and may include changing companies, or fields. This uses the frameworks, tools, and skills to help clients identify career opportunities outside of their present organization or field, and may include situations such as retrenchment, and retirement.

The Job and Career Development Coach (JCDC) Certification focuses on helping clients and organizations develop careers within companies. This uses the frameworks, tools, and skills to identify career opportunities, and to coach them to achieve their goals, and develop over-all career and succession planning, within organizations.
